ALECSO signs Cooperation Agreement with the  Tunisian Association for Educational Initiatives

 

As part of ALECSO’s endeavor to meet the challenges facing the Arab world in the intellectual and cultural fields, and keen on promoting scientific and technological awareness among Arab young people and on enhancing their abilities to understand science and technology concepts and methods, and in preparation for the implementation of the ICT Department’s activity, scheduled for 2021-2022, entitled: “Promoting the culture of programming, innovation, digital creativity and entrepreneurship among young people in the Arab world”, ALECSO signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Tunisian Association for Educational Initiatives.
This Association seeks to develop initiatives designed to help improve the quality of teaching and learning, enhance learning opportunities in underprivileged areas, and promote entrepreneurial and self-development skills for young people.
The signed agreement is designed to strengthen cooperation between ALECSO and the Association for the implementation of joint projects, initiatives and activities in pursuit of shared goals.
The Agreement was signed at ALECSO headquarters, in the presence of H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, and Mrs. Widad Boudrigua Rezgui, President of the Tunisian Association for Educational Initiatives, along with Dr. Mohamed Jemni, Director of ALECSO’s ICT Department, Mr. Anis Maamouri, Secretary-General of the Association, and Mrs. Fatma Bouaziz, Coordinator of the “Arab Code Week” event in Tunisia. The meeting was also attended, remotely, by members of the coordinators team of the Arab Code Week from Jordan, Egypt, Palestine, Syria, Libya, Morocco, Iraq, and Oman.
