ALECSO holds second virtual training session

The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) held a second virtual training session, via ClassIn, on October 5, 2020, as part of ALECSO’s e-learning initiative launched to respond to the interruption of education and ensure the continuity of learning in the Arab countries.
This session is designed to train teachers in the use of the educational tools and platforms available through this initiative and to familiarize them with e-learning methods and with the way of developing and publishing digital educational contents. Over 300 participants from 21 Arab countries registered for this session. ALECSO stands ready to make this platform available free of charge to all educational institutions in the Arab countries.
Dr. Mohamed Jemni, Director of the ICT Department, opened the session with a statement in which he reaffirmed ALECSO’s readiness to respond to the second wave of COVID-19 by providing new educational platforms to facilitate distance learning and maintain the continuity of learning in all Arab countries in the best conditions possible.
