Webinar on Youth and Development in the Arab World

Under the chairmanship of H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), and H.E. Dr. Mariz Younes, General Coordinator of the High Commission of the International Network for the Study of Arab Societies, the Department of Science and Scientific Research at ALECSO and the International Network for the Study of Arab Societies organized, on September 29, 2020, a Webinar on “Youth and Development in the Arab World”.
Specialized experts from Tunisia, Algeria, and Lebanon participated in this webinar as facilitators and speakers. Academics, professors, and researchers interested in youth and development issues from Arab and non-Arab countries interacted with the live broadcast.
The webinar was held as part of cooperation between ALECSO and the International Network for the Study of Arab Societies. Both sides are actually keen on consolidating relations with Arab, regional and international centers and institutions, and are deeply aware of the vital role of scholars and researchers in providing useful insights and visions on development and youth issues, especially amid the current exceptional circumstances caused by the spread of the global Covid-19 pandemic.
ALECSO is pleased to invite experts, scholars, academics and researchers from the Arab world and from elsewhere to join this series of webinars, designed to address issues relating to the promotion of sustainable development in all fields.
