The Arab Decade for Cultural Right (2018-2027) was announced in Tunis, Tunisia, on June 22, 2018. Its principles, goals and projects serve as a framework for joint Arab action to support human rights through culture, and to promote the use of cultural and creative industries as a lever of sustainable development and economic growth. This document, though non-legally binding, serves to help Member States to strengthen inter-Arab cultural and intellectual cooperation.
