In cooperation with “Classera” and “Millennium@edu Sustainable Education”, ALECSO has signed a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Scientific Research in the United Republic of Comoros, with the aim of providing the Ministry, free of charge, with the Classera e-learning system, to be used as an interactive digital learning environment to ensure continuity of learning for nearly 220,000 students during the Covid-19 crisis. This agreement comes as part of ALECSO’s initiative, launched in March 2020, to promote e-learning in response to school closure and educational disruption due to Covid-19 crisis, and to ensure continuity of learning in the Arab countries. This crisis has, in fact, made it necessary to combine efforts so as to provide adequate technological solutions, digital tools, and educational platforms, and make them available for use by Arab ministries and educational institutions during and after the crisis.
